I have been working in outdoor education since 2003. My passion for the outdoors started as a child. During my own school years I was a frustrated and overactive child as at school I was not listened to and my needs were not met. I realised that my best education was outdoors learning by doing. It is for this reason that I am so passionate about working for My Big Adventure. Seeing the difference in the young people we work with over time is extremely rewarding: they have a golden opportunity with us; being able to help them see that and make the most of it is an honour.
